![]() Bouma's monetization of his work was overt, and even though his point about it being entirely his code may be valid, it doesn't mean much if he's not willing to contest the point in court-and understandably, that's something most individual mod makers can't or won't do. Very generally, game companies tend not to sweat mods too much as long as nobody's making money on them, and will sometimes even grant them an official blessing: Installation 01, for instance, is a fan-made Halo game that was given a non-commercial license, contingent on the developers never accepting any kind of money for the work-not even donations. Dont worry though, its normal! This is because the game is re-compiling the shaders, so once thats done (may take a minute or 3) you should be able to play the game as normal. It's a shame the mod is gone, but the dispute also highlights potentially larger questions for other Patreon-supported mod makers. Once thats done and you restart the game, Load up a level (not a quicksave or checkpoint) and you will notice alot of things like textures missing. Is there anyway to change this? I love everything else you've done, but in particular would prefer to change these to look closer to how they were before. I've had similar issues with Windows 10 in the past where files were getting saved in the 'AppData' folder. ![]()
